AWS / CES is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for an Automotive Manufacturing client in Arlington, TX

Location : Arlington, TX
Schedule : 2nd shift / Temp to Hire
Compensation : $27 per hour
Background in industrial or automotive environments is a must

Responsibilities :

Oversee maintenance operations, including repairs and preventative maintenance.

Assess workplace conditions to enhance employee safety, health, comfort, and productivity.

Ensure compliance with state and federal environmental, safety, and health regulations.

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems with expertise.

Manage CMMS tools (e.g., SAP, Maximo, Oracle) to track preventative maintenance and inventory.

Create and implement preventative maintenance plans for production equipment.

Lead and support a team of maintenance technicians to achieve high performance.

Handle equipment procurement, installation, and ensure safety and operational compliance.

Collaborate with departments to set technical requirements for equipment and facility changes.

Analyze workplace safety and environmental factors, working with OSHA or EPA as needed.

Develop and maintain programs, policies, and procedures for safety and maintenance.

Train team members in maintenance techniques, including advanced troubleshooting.

Uphold ethical standards and ensure the confidentiality of employee information.

Qualifications :

Expertise in mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubleshooting.

Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS systems.

Background in industrial or automotive environments.

Proven leadership skills and ability to perform under pressure.

Strong knowledge of troubleshooting methods and strategies.

Excellent communication skills and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
