Job Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead and oversee maintenance personnel on the second shift. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a manufacturing environment, including equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance programs, and lean manufacturing implementation. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to respond promptly to equipment failures.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage maintenance personnel to ensure maximum equipment efficiency and minimal downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment failures by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Troubleshoot, program, and document PLC control systems (Modicon, Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
- Interpret electrical schematics and troubleshoot wiring circuits.
- Maintain and oversee electrical distribution systems (24V, 115V, 277V, 480V 3-phase).
- Develop, organize, and supervise preventive maintenance programs for all production equipment and facility systems.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, including machine guarding, lockout / tag-out, and safe maintenance practices.
- Train, coach, and develop maintenance staff while enforcing policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure maintenance needs are met.
- Oversee capital projects for equipment and facility upgrades.
