Key Responsibilities:
- Material Coordination: Ensure timely delivery of raw materials, components, and supplies to support production schedules.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular inventory checks, and prevent shortages or overages.
- Supplier Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers to track shipments, resolve discrepancies, and ensure on-time deliveries.
- Storage & Organization: Optimize material storage and organization within the manufacturing facility for efficient space utilization.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records, including material receiving reports, inventory logs, and shipment tracking.
- Production Support: Identify and address material flow issues that could impact production timelines.
- Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality standards for incoming materials to meet manufacturing requirements.
- Process Improvement: Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance material handling and inventory processes.
- Safety Compliance: Assist in implementing safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Flexible work hours: Able to work continental shift, 6 am- 6 pm, or 6 pm- 6 am, 80 hours per 2 weeks.
Qualifications & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's degree or certification in supply chain management is a plus.
- Experience in material coordination, inventory control, or a related role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with suppliers and internal teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of solar panel manufacturing processes is a plus but not required.
