Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will handle transactions efficiently while promoting our products and services. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage cash handling will be essential to your success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in a friendly manner.
• Process customer transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision.
• Maintain knowledge of products to assist customers with inquiries and product demos.
• Upsell and promote store products to enhance sales opportunities.
• Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain high standards of customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus.
• Experience with product demonstrations is advantageous but not required.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
