ObjectiveEntry level. Perform basic functions in the blending / batching department with supervision. This position reports to the Cellar and Blending / Batching Manager.Essential ResponsibilitiesMaintain all quality standards and safety set for production at CANarchy facilitiesKnow where all raw materials are stored and general layout of the breweryCorrectly and accurately weigh and stage flavorings, juice, and other additives as required for blending / batching operationsClean and maintain finishing vessels according to standard operating procedure (SOP)Monitor and correct the carbonation of product prior to packagingAssemble and break down appropriate hoses and parts configuration depending on processFollow SOP's to safely handle chemicals and hoses / vessels under pressure while wearing PPELog information immediately and accuratelyComplete general cleaning tasks (sweeping, scrubbing, organizing, etc.)Maintain a clean and orderly workspaceEscalate problems to coworkers and management immediatelyAdditional ResponsibilitiesBegin training on transferring / blending equipment according to SOPPerform facility-specific duties as required or assigned RequirementsRequired Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesDemonstrate reliability, punctuality, and ability to multi-taskCommunicate effectively and demonstrate willingness to ask questions before proceeding with unsuretyDemonstrate responsible and well-informed decision makingPhysical & Mental RequirementsMust have the physical and mental strength and endurance to be able to perform duties, in at times extreme environments, as well as the ability to handle stressors of the position in operational and administrative situations.
