We have an immediate opening for a Hardware Support Engineer. This position requires teamwork and the ability to communicate in written and spoken English. Responsibilities Include:
- Working closely with clients and teammates to resolve technical issues
- Becoming proficient in Campbell Scientific CRBasic programming (we will teach you)
- Becoming proficient in MLBasic (Canary Systems proprietary programming language for new MLBase/MLRemote hardware) (we all learned it, and you will too!)
- Integrating new monitoring instrumentation with Canary Systems MLSuite software by researching device capabilities, determining technical requirements, and documenting methodologies
- Resolve client technical support issues using a ticketing platform.
- Supporting and troubleshooting Canary Systems MLSuite applications
- Performing hardware and software testing
Expertise Desired:
- Tech troubleshooting
- Electronics aptitude
- Understanding of:
- Serial communication protocols
- Wi-Fi networking experience
- TCP and UDP networking protocols
- Binary/Hexadecimal math
- Campbell Scientific CR Basic programming
