Evaporator Operator

Basic Function:

This role is responsible for the maintenance and repairs of all manufacturing equipment to ensure proper operation.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience: (Education and Training)

· High school diploma or GED equivalent

· At least one year of dairy manufacturing experience preferred

· Ability to lift to 50lbs

· Ability to stand for longer periods

Responsibilities:

· Maintain Evaporator, tower area and ground floor. Keep clean and sanitary, picking up and putting away clamps, gaskets and pipes when not in use

· Maintain proper solids (32-35%)

· Perform necessary routine cleaning and preventive maintenance

· Complete wash up in a timely fashion and operate CIP equipment

· Record lot numbers

· Load-out bulk tankers of condensed skim

· Ensure product meets specifications

· Prevent spills

· Maintain operating records Perform all tasks and complete required documentation

· Must be able to fluently operate machines

· Must follow all safety rules and GMP’s

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
