About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to lead our construction projects in the Central Florida area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects, developing project budgets, and maintaining strong relationships with our clients and stakeholders.
Job Description:
- Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain project budgets and cost accounting systems, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Negotiate subcontract agreements and material purchase orders, securing best value for our clients.
- Review and approve invoicing for all construction projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain strong relationships with owner/clients, engineers, and subcontractors, fostering open communication and collaboration.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Construction Management or a related field (not required but preferred).
- 5-10 years of experience managing commercial projects ranging from $100K to $5 million.
Key Qualifications
You should possess:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in construction computer applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, and Procore.
