Are you a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant looking to make a meaningful impact in oncology care? We are seeking a compassionate, self-motivated Advanced Practice Provider to join our growing private community practice!

Our recently remodeled 20,000 sq. ft. office features 30 chemotherapy infusion chairs, a multidisciplinary Tumor Board, and specialty conferences in Breast Cancer and Thoracic Oncology. With a collaborative team of 8 physicians and 7 advanced practitioners, we serve a high-quality, 500 bed hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
- Direct medical care of oncology/hematology patients in inpatient and/or outpatient settings, including initial history, physical exams, follow-up, and emergent visits.
- Provide screenings, determine treatment plans, and assess the need for hospital admission or further care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive cancer treatment.
- Educate patients on diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Prescribe medications and recommend treatments within the scope of practice.
- Act as a resource and role model for staff.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Write chemotherapy orders.
- Manage off-site treatment patients.
- Participate in the customization of electronic medical records.
- Complete compliance documentation, billing, and medical necessity forms.
- Stay up to date with oncology research and participate in clinical projects.
- Engage in community outreach and health promotion initiatives.
Requirements
Nurse Practitioner (NP):
- Current NP Licensure and registration in PA
- Master’s Degree in Nursing
- CPR Certification
Physician Assistant (PA):
- Current PA Licensure under the PA State Board of Medicine
- Certification through NCCPA
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
- CPR Certification
Job-Related Experience:
- 0-2 years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Passion for oncology and patient-centered care
