Cancer Care Northwest is hiring a [part time/full time/supplemental] (no weekends or nights) Admixture Technician who is responsible for performing the technical, non-judgmental aspects of medication preparation, distribution, record keeping, and inventory control at all admixture locations (potential to float sites). The primary duties include sterile preparation of chemotherapy and other hazardous and non-hazardous medications. Tasks are subject to final verification by a registered nurse or pharmacist.
Formal Education, Certification/Licensure, and Prior Experience: to perform this job successfully, an individual must have:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (required)
- At least 1 year experience in a pharmacy mixing sterile (I.V) preparations (required)
- Certified Pharmacy Technician License upon hire
- I.V. or Hazardous Compounding Certification (preferred)
