Cancer Care Northwest is hiring a Temporary Full-time Medical Assistant or LPN with responsibilities to assist physicians and nursing staff with patient care duties. This position is also responsible for performing a variety of clerical duties requiring experience and knowledge of office functions. Performs clinic support tasks, including miscellaneous clerical tasks, making calls to patients per physician's order and setting up daily patient charts in the EMR including history of present illness, past medical/surgical history, past family/social history, allergies and medications.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must:
- Washington: High School Diploma or General Education Degree. Graduate from an accredited program for Medical Assistants. Current DOH MA Certified or able to obtain DOH MA Registered credentials or Current DOH Nursing Assistant Certified in a hospital or clinic setting. CPR certification.
It is preferred an individual have:
- Previous phlebotomy experience
- 3-5 years of Medical Assistant experience in a hospital or clinic setting
