What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advisor Communications Manager position at Candidate Experience site?
The Communications Manager is focused on developing and supporting channel and community communications and executing on related activities. The Communications Manager will report directly to the Director of Advisor Communications and collaborate with Community leadership, the Advisor Communications team and cross-functional colleagues throughout Cetera to create a positive, consistent experience for community financial professionals by sharing the right messaging at the right time based on enterprise content strategy. The Communications Manager has strong writing, editing, and project management skills and is a detail-oriented, collaborative, tactful and thoughtful team player.
What you will do:
- Serve as a liaison to Community Leadership to understand, review, and implement community communications priorities in alignment with strategic enterprise priorities. Document and measure impact of activities.
- Partner with Community Leadership and Advisor Communications team to co-create and publish collateral related to key community initiatives, collaborating closely with team to meet goals and deadlines. These might include talking points, presentations, leadership messages, social media messaging, and newsletters.
- Develop and create community-specific thematic, branded content via Canva.
- Maintain and execute on monthly community calendar of publication deliverables.
- Maintain and develop social media charters for community leaders and execute on all plans. This will involve collaborating with marketing to ensure imagery aligns with brand standards.
- Own and write ongoing advisor spotlight feature stories for advisor communications channels.
- Own and manage community communications email marketing via Marketo, including building, testing, and troubleshooting email, and provide monthly dashboard reporting on impact.
- Audit and update community communications channels monthly. Build and share reporting dashboards with key performance indicators for communications activities.
- Travel occasionally as needed to provide onsite support for community meetings.
- Serve as backup and support for general communications issues within the enterprise.
What you will need to have:
- Excellent writing skills, including copywriting and editing.
- Excellent critical thinking skills.
- Experience with current and emerging communications platforms and technologies, including but not limited to Marketo, Viva Engage, Teams, Zoom, Salesforce, Canva, Hootsuite, Sprout Social.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects with simultaneous timelines and hard deadlines.
- Project management skills and ability to manage multiple resources and stakeholders with tact and sensitivity and a collaborative attitude.
- MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel experience.
- Marketo or similar platform or Canva.
- BA or BS or equivalent degree in business, marketing, communications, or related discipline.
- 5 years communications experience.
- 3 years financial services or related industry experience.
Travel Requirements: Up to (25%)
Compensation: The base annual salary range for this role is $75,000 to $85,000, plus a performance-based bonus. Base annual salary depends on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location. Base annual salary may also differ significantly due to geography and cost of labor considerations.
