We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, preferably with a background in GI, hepatology/transplant or internal medicine, to join an established practice in Greenville, SC. In this role, you will find a supportive leadership team and excellent colleagues in a team-oriented environment.
Details of the position:
- Outpatient care to patients with chronic liver disease, cirrhosis, and patients being evaluated for liver transplant through our transplant program.
- Location: Atrium Health Liver Care and Transplant - Greenville, SC.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm. No nights or weekends.
- No required procedures.
- Average patient load: 12-15.
- Clinical staff includes 1 MD, 1 APP, 1 RN and 1 CMA.

Candidate Qualifications:
- Experienced APPs with at least 1 year of gastroenterology, hepatology/transplant or internal medicine experience are preferred. New grads will also be considered.
- State Licensure Requirement: NC, SC.
- Primary Care or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner – Master’s Degree or Doctorate of Nursing Practice required. License to practice as a Registered Nurse required. Certification in the area of practice from a nationally recognized certifying body required. Acute Care board certification preferred based upon population and acuity served.
- Physician Assistant – Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program required, Master’s Degree preferred. Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants preferred.
- APP who demonstrates appropriate critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
- APP who has the ability to prioritize and make proactive decisions.
