Cloud Security Architect/Partner

Tradeweb Technology jobs are fully remote. The Tradeweb Technology hub is in our Jersey City office, which can be used for team meetings and collaboration efforts.  There may be days where travel to the Jersey City office is recommended for organizational off-sites.

 Job Responsibilities

• Lead Cloud Security architecture initiatives including designing and implementing cloud security frameworks for a business unit, ensuring they align with the organization’s strategic goals.
• Promote strategic direction and guide the adoption of security architecture practices in cloud implementations.
• Perform end-to-end security architecture reviews of the various platforms.
• Stay informed about the latest development across diverse cloud platforms.
• Develop security patterns specifically for cloud-aware authentication mechanisms.
• Develop and maintain deep knowledge on the cloud security tools and technologies
• Help drive automated security assertion of security requirements
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business, technology teams, risk management, and compliance teams.
• Act as the key interface with external regulators, internal and external audit teams, and clients to communicate organization’s security risks and controls in place to mitigate them.
• Lead initiatives to make informed cyber risk decisions, foster a robust technology, and cyber risk management culture throughout Tradeweb

Qualifications

• 10 years of information technology or information security experience, with a focus on architecture and implementation.
• 5 years of demonstrated experience leading cloud security initiative.
• Strong knowledge of AWS security reference architecture and their application in real-world scenarios.
• In-depth key knowledge of AWS services such as Amazon Identity and Access Management (IAM), Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Key Management System (KMS), CloudHSM, AWS Organizations, AWS Artifact, AWS Web Application Firewall (WAF).
• Strong knowledge of automation solutions using tools like Ansible Tower, Pulumi or Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management
• Expertise in threat modeling frameworks and methodologies
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical and non-technical concepts in verbal products & excellent writing skills
• Knowledge of key legal and regulatory compliance standards, e.g. GDPR, RegSCI
• Knowledge of common frameworks and standards such as NIST, CIS, ISO
• Financial services experience, or experience in the financial technology ('FinTech') area is preferable
• Holding one of these certifications is preferable – CCSP, CCSK, GCLD, GCSA
• Certifications such as AWS solutions architect and AWS security specialty is preferable
• Industry certifications from vendors: ISA, SANS, CompTIA or eLearn Security is a plus

• The current pay range for this role if performed in the city of New York is currently $150,000 to $275,000 per year, based on a regular, full-time schedule.  The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, geographic location, and internal guidelines.
