We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Infection Prevention Manager to join our dynamic healthcare team. The Infection Prevention Manager will play a key role in developing, implementing, and overseeing the infection prevention and control program to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients, staff, and visitors. This individual will work closely with clinical and administrative teams to monitor, assess, and prevent healthcare-associated infections while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Microbiology, Public Health, or a related field (required).
- Experience: Prefer 5 years of experience in infection prevention and control but will consider candidates with less than 5 years infection prevention experience.
- Certification: Certification in Infection Control (CIC) is required
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of infection prevention principles, microbiology, epidemiology, and regulatory requirements (e.g., CDC, JCAHO).
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret infection data and trends. Ability to educate and mentor staff on infection control practices.
