What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Support Trainer position at Candidate Experience site?
Primary Purpose
Develops and conducts in-depth, standardized training and development programs for new and existing team members for assigned functional area to improve individual and organizational performance.
Major Responsibilities
- Analyzes operational functions, processes, and procedures and consults with team members and leadership and/or conduct surveys to assess training needs for both new and existing team members.
- Obtain, organize, or develop training procedure manuals, guides, or course materials, such as handouts or visual materials.
- Instructs new and existing team members on assigned subject matter/topic (including hard and soft skills), with an emphasis on key processes and procedures team members need to know, maintain, or improve on in order to perform their job. Presents information using a variety of instructional techniques to meet educational objectives and/or regulatory compliance requirements that impact business functions, which may include role playing, simulation, team exercises, group discussions, videos, e-learning and lectures.
- Provides additional training beyond the typical classroom setting, such as small group setting presentations, desk-side support, virtual conferences and other forms of training, as needed.
- Stays up-to-date with all changes to training materials and on industry and educational best practices and incorporates into training content.
- Monitors, evaluates and provides feedback on the effectiveness of training activities and progress of team members; including feedback on those that may be struggling or those that are excelling, as well as follows-up on opportunities to adjust course materials.
- Maintains a high-level of knowledge in assigned subject area(s) to provide support to team members; works collaboratively with other areas/teams to resolve issues.
- Participates in routine evaluations of training program(s) and instructor(s) using student surveys and focus groups.
Minimum Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Education, or Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.
Certification / Registration / License: None required
Work Experience: Typically requires 3 years of experience in adult education and/or relevant training and development experience.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- Working knowledge and experience creating instructional-based documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), or similar products. Ability to learn other applications proficiently.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Able to provide educational offerings that ensures translation of teachings into actions.
- Demonstrated teaching skills that promote learner involvement. Innovative coaching and counseling skills when dealing with education and development issues.
- Creative ability to develop class agendas and material and to present them in an interesting manner.
- Effective critical thinking, creativity, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to pay close attention to details.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. when carrying education material to classrooms.
- Must be able to sit 50% and stand 50% of the workday.
- May be exposed to extreme weather conditions when traveling between sites.
- Exposed to normal office environment.
- Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.

Base Pay: $62,712.00 - 94,120.00 annually
Base compensation listed within the listed pay range based on factors such as qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training
Premium pay such as shift, on call, and more based on a teammate's job
Incentive pay for select positions
Opportunity for annual increases based on performance
