Cetera Financial Group (CFG) is seeking a Product Marketing Specialist (Insurance) who will be responsible for executing marketing tactics to our captive financial professional audience to drive revenue growth and adoption of Cetera’s insurance and annuity solutions as a component of a comprehensive wealth management offering. This role will work closely with the Director, Product Marketing to align marketing efforts to the objectives of the Advanced Wealth Solutions and Growth teams to execute plans and tactics for the business outcomes to be achieved.
What you will do:
- Work with the Director, Product Marketing to execute strategic B2B marketing plans and campaigns aligned with the goals of our Advanced Wealth Solutions initiatives, focusing primarily on insurance and annuity solutions.
- Help develop and manage relationships with third parties for copywriting, design, and strategy execution.
- Support the development and accentuation of unique value propositions while incorporating brand and marketing messages appropriately to drive outsized growth.
- Represent the viewpoints of the Advanced Wealth Solutions leadership team, financial advisor, and end client throughout the content creation and strategic planning process with internal partners.
- Continually assess the marketing needs of Advanced Wealth Solutions, tracking and measuring the effectiveness of implemented marketing plans and campaigns, adjusting as needed to maximize engagement and adoption.
- Develop, review, and revise content and messaging to help with targeted sales and education efforts.
- Other duties as defined.
What you need to have:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing roles. Financial services experience is a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing experience.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including knowledge of AP Style.
- Strong proficiency in a variety of computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
What is nice to have:
- Direct experience in B2B wealth management marketing, preferably within the insurance and annuity space or within an Insurance Marketing Organization (IMO).
- Familiarity with content management systems, analytics tracking, client relationship management tools, and social media and email marketing platforms. Proficiency in Marketo is a plus.
- Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methodology.
Travel Requirements: Up to (20%).
