What are the responsibilities and job description for the Proposal Specialist II position at Candidate Experience site?
Pike Enterprises, LLC is currently seeking a highly talented Proposal Specialist II to work in collaboration with our PMO business development and operations team on pursuits including partnering in the preparation of formal client solicitations, including EOI, RFQ, RFP, and pre-qualification efforts.
This position is an in-office position preferably located in our downtown Dallas office.
Essential Functions:
- Accountable for developing technical commercial proposals for the high-powered utility industry including but not limited to resume development, EOI, RFQ, and RFP documents.
- Responsible for leading the process by gathering data and engaging necessary stakeholders across the organization (planning, engineering, construction etc.)
- Interfaces with technical and BD staff to develop submittals and materials to win new contracts for the company, and to manage the information infrastructure that enables the business to do so efficiently.
- Analysis of customer requirements. Supporting operations and business development teams in examining the technical feasibility and identifying project risk or additional opportunities.
- Possess extensive knowledge in Adobe Design Suite and Microsoft tools with the ability to create content that highlights the company’s philosophy and policies.
- Demonstrate substantial expertise as a proposal specialist with the ability to serve as lead writer/ editor of resumes and past performance sections for proposals.
- Participate in greenlight analysis, capture planning and positioning activities as they pertain to the preparation of the proposals.
- Manage the implementation of proposal and presentation revisions based on direction from review teams
- Provide grammatical and technical editing to ensure quality
- Support special projects, as required, including providing guidance to entry-level proposal team members
- Some travel may be required as needed to meet with various teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Marketing, Communication, Journalism, Business Admin, Engineering) with a combination of related work experience required.
- 3-5 years minimum experience as a successful Proposal Specialist, Technical Writer and/or Contract Management.
- Strong background in working with highly technical compliance-based proposals required.
- Strong Technical proficiency in Adobe Design products and Microsoft tools
- Excellent Oral and writing skills with internal and external organization.
- Ability to travel 10-15% on an as needed basis
- Strong Analytical and Critical thinking skills
- The ability to work in office in the DFW area.
