We are currently seeking to add a Retirement Plan Consultant Senior Manager to our growing team. As Supervisor you will oversee Team Leads and monitor RPC productivity. You may manage a case load of 30-40 small to mid-size plans, under the “Departmentalized TPA” model.This position will be hybrid, work from home and two days in your nearest Cetera office (Coppell, TX, Des Moines, IA, El Segundo, CA, San Diego, CA, and Saint Paul, MN.
What you will do:
- Workflow management and time accountability for team members.
- Conduct and arrange monthly 1:1 meetings with Team Leaders.
- Attend weekly management meetings with upper management and other supervisors.
- Train newly hired Team Leaders on systems and procedures.
- Provide mentoring/cross training for Team Leaders.
- First point of contact for escalation and problem solving for Team Leaders.
- Perform annual reviews and assistance with goal setting for Team Leaders.
- Send monthly Pension Pro data collection projects (subject to change).
- Ensure Pension Pro projects are viable and working well (subject to change).
- Prepare EOM departmental revenue recognition reports for home office.
- Conduct interviews with potential new hires.
What you will have:
- Solid understanding of plan document and interpretation of said provisions.
- Ability to prepare optimum annual ER contribution allocations/outcomes.
- Prepare and/or review IRS Forms 5330, and 5500 and all applicable schedules.
- Work closely with CPAs on audited large plan filers and other deduction matters.
- High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
- Professional designation with ASPPA and/or NIPA preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with third party plan administration.
Compensation:
The base annual salary range for this role is $90,000 to $130,000, plus a competitive performance-based bonus. Base annual salary depends on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location. Base annual salary may also differ significantly due to geography and cost of labor considerations.
