What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Manager, Specialty Operations position at Candidate Experience site?
Cetera Financial Group is currently seeking a Senior Manager level operations leader to add to our team in El Segundo, CA. This is a unique opportunity to join our Specialty Operations team with a focus on advisory business and provide excellent leadership and process improvement across operations in a world-class organization.
What you will do:
· Defining and managing success by establishing and reporting key performance metrics
· Ensuring accuracy of metrics
· Manage and coordinate strategic initiatives impacting Specialty Operations with a heavy focus on M&A
· Data reporting and audit coordination
· Analytical thinker with the ability to articulate problem resolutions and implement change across operations
· Results-oriented leader and with ability to effectively manage and motivate within a large team environment to meet the future demands of the business
· Project Management
· Works effectively across other departments while representing teams on various special projects as assigned
· Review operational processes and workflows, identify risk points and re-engineer those processes to better support the business now and in the future.
· Ability to stay highly organized
· Effective communicator with a solid understanding of the financial industry and business operations. Influence & navigate within the department to communicate processes and create a sharing of information among internal team members
What you need to have:
· Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
· Series 99 required or must gain within 3-6 months upon start date
· 7 years as a leader who is as comfortable with hands on processes, business project design and management.
· 10 years driving results
· 10 years of experience and an understanding of the financial industry with a keen interest in teamwork, and the ability to thrive in a setting that requires consensus building achieving results.
The salary range for this role is $128,000 - $145,000, plus competitive performance-based bonus. Compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location. Compensation ranges may differ in differing locations due to cost of labor considerations.
