Group Details

Our platform innovation engineering team is searching for a Senior Software Engineer with strong backend knowledge and systems architecture familiarity. The role will help our team build services for separating OLTP and OLAP workflows, as well as scaling existing technology. This is an opportunity to help bring new products and/or services to our product lineup.

ICD Technology jobs are fully remote. The ICD Technology hub is located in our Golden, Colorado office which can be used for team meetings and collaboration efforts.  There may be days where travel to the Golden office is recommended for organizational off-sites.

Job Responsibilities

• Work with the Engineering Lead and PI team to design and build new services to support existing applications
• Select the right cloud-based technologies and tools for the job (AWS)
• Architect and build from a vertical slice out to the full breadth of unit, API, integration, and E2E tests
• Own the quality of delivery to the customer.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

Qualifications

• 4 years of software development experience.
• Successfully built a new product or significantly enhanced an existing one
• 2 years of experience contributing to architecture and design with high ownership
• Experience building enterprise solutions that are highly scalable, resilient, testable, and maintainable
• Very clear written and verbal communication skills
• Strong passion for making products with high quality that delivers a great customer experience

Preferred

• Rust experience
• AWS Experience
• Executed in a highly effective organization that embraced Agile at every level
• Clear understanding of event-driven or distributed systems
• Experience influencing software engineers' and organizational best practices

• The current pay range for this role is currently $170,000 to $185,000 per year, based on a regular, full-time schedule.  The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, and internal guidelines.
• This role will also be eligible to participate in Tradeweb’s discretionary bonus program. 
• This role is expected to remain open until March 10^th, 2025.
