What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist - Float position at Candidate Experience site?
The Speech-Language Pathologist evaluates, establishes, and implements treatment programs for patients of all ages referred by a physician. This individual supervises the Registered Speech-Language Pathology Aide (RSLPA) in the delivery of patient care. The Speech-Language Pathologist supervises Registered Speech-Language Pathology Aides and ancillary staff with department activities.
Qualifications:
A. Education
1. Graduate of an accredited curriculum in Speech-Language Pathology
B. Experience
1. Prior experience in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
2. Demonstrated competence in the care of populations served which may include neonatal, infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric
C. Licensure
1. Licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist by the state of Georgia
