Maintenance Technician
Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to maintain cleanliness and order in our facility. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe, sanitary, and pleasant environment for all employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
Waste Management: Collect and dispose of trash and recycling materials; ensure waste bins are emptied regularly.
Restroom Supplies: Monitor and replenish restroom supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels) as needed.
Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment; report any hazards or maintenance issues.
Inventory Management: Assist in tracking cleaning supplies and notify management when stock is low.
Additional Tasks: Perform other cleaning and maintenance tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous janitorial or custodial experience is a plus.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and time management skills.
Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
Physical Demands:
This position may require standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
Work Environment:
Manufacturing environment – climate controlled, may spend part of day outdoors
