Maintenance Planner – Franklin, KY

In this very important role you will anticipate and eliminate potential production delays through the coordination of labor, parts, and material by planning and preparing all maintenance activities including preventative maintenance work orders, reactive work orders, and planned outages using INFOR (our EAM system). You will work closely with our plant leadership team as well as manage and maintain the plant’s storeroom/inventory.
In this role you will:
Work safely and smartly, following our procedures, safety protocols, and your training;
Manage and continuously improve inventory for all crucial parts and components, including consumables;
Stage parts, supplies, and materials for maintenance and production team to complete repairs as well as prepare stock and supplies for efficient and effective usage during planned outages/downtime;
Create, process, assign, and close INFOR work orders relative to preventative maintenance schedules and work orders and partnering with plant leadership to ensure timely completion of work orders;
Complete cycle counts at appropriate intervals, including root cause analysis on failures as you make sure all parts are stocked and available to our production processes;
Report or mitigate deviations, discrepancies, or non-conforming material for the Maintenance team to make corrections or adjustments to processes or ordering.
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent;
2-3 years related mechanical maintenance experience;
Prior experience in a storeroom atmosphere (tool crib layout, bin locations, product lines, inventory control procedure) strongly preferred;
Previous EAM experience; INFOR experience highly desirable;
Excellent understanding of PM;
Microsoft Office software proficiency.

When will you work?
Primarily Monday-Friday, day shift. In the event of business needs, work may extend beyond these days and hours only as necessary.
Where will you work and the physical environment?
Our manufacturing plant in Franklin, KY;
Low frequency lifting up to 75 lbs. and frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.;
High frequent use of forklift/mobile equipment;
Physical demands include frequent standing, lifting, bending, reaching, and walking;
Normal office environment 60% of time;
Frequent exposure to plant floor involving ambient temperatures, noise, and dust.
