The Position : Quality Control InspectorAs a Quality Control Inspector at CandleScience, you will be tasked with ensuring all inbound, manufactured, and returned products meet the high-quality standards that our customers expect from one of the nation's leading suppliers.The Quality Inspector is responsible for reviewing products and materials upon arrival or during / after manufacturing to make sure they meet company requirements. Their duties include measuring objects compared to their intended physical specifications, running quality tests and identifying defects.Responsibilities : Inspects and approves materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.Inspects post-production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating required adjustments to the production supervisor.Inspects customer returns for damage and usage and re-work or repackages as necessaryApproves finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work.Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizes re-work and waste, and records data in the appropriate system.Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calibration requirements, and calling for repairs.Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.You must thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment and be focused on accomplishing the company's mission and goals.
