Candle Warmers is seeking an experienced National Account Manager to lead and expand our presence in the home fragrance and home décor market. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the industry, strong relationships with key retailers, and a proven track record of driving sales growth. This role involves developing strategic partnerships, executing sales strategies, and ensuring customer satisfaction across national accounts.
Candle Warmers Etc. became the original alternative to lighting a candle in 2001. when a neighbor's house fire made our founder aware of the dangers of lit candles. He invested the family's savings into 5,000 mug warmers, and the original candle warmer was born. We remain committed to continuing in the company's tradition of family culture and constant innovation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Account Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key national retailers and distributors in the home fragrance and candles sector.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Create and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and company objectives.
- Analyze market trends and customer data to identify growth opportunities and execute initiatives that drive revenue growth.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and supply chain, to ensure alignment and effective execution of account strategies.
- Communicate regularly with customers to identify and address any concerns or issues while providing excellent customer service.
Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess account performance and inform strategic decisions.
- Prepare and present regular business reviews to internal and external stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Experience in Account management, preferably within the home fragrance, candles, or related consumer goods industries.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze market data and develop strategic plans to increase sales revenue.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
