Overview
We seek an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the Manager by overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient processes, policies, and procedures, and adherence to safety standards. This role is crucial in maintaining high levels of productivity and accuracy in our warehouse environment, ensuring orders are shipped on time, complete, and comply with guidelines.
Duties
- Supervise team to ensure orders are shipped on time, complete, and comply with guidelines.
- Maintain customer orders in an organized manner for fulfillment teams
- Assist the Warehouse manager with all day-to-day department tasks
- Ensure employees are on task and remain productive.
- Coordinate with department leaders and specialists regularly
- Assist team lead & specialists in training new hires in job requirements.
- Assessing and adjusting labor to best meet the needs of the department
- Enforces warehouse safety rules and cleaning assignments
- Orders supplies for warehouse
- Coordinates with other departments
- Be a positive influence and uplift others
- Ensure department KPIs are being maintained
- Works with leads daily to ensure their teams are operating efficiently
- Loads and unloads trucks
- Maintain Department reports
- Attend meetings as required
- Maintain and enforce company and department policies and procedures
- Give out rewards and recognition to team members
- Provides daily updates and reports to the Manager
- Work with the Manager to Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff to promote a productive work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years of proven experience as a Warehouse supervisor or in a similar role within warehouse management.
- 2 years of Warehouse/Production/Distribution Center
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team effectively.
- Forklift
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Shipping software knowledge a plus
- English
- Physical requirements: Heavy lifting, standing/walking 8 hours a day, bending, pushing, pulling, carrying.
