The Quality Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for leading and managing the continuous improvement initiatives within the organization. This role focuses on enhancing product quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction through the implementation of Lean, Six Sigma, and other quality improvement methodologies.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies and initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying, analyzing, and solving quality and process-related issues.
- Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other quality improvement tools to drive process improvements and reduce waste.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Train and mentor employees on continuous improvement methodologies and best practices.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in quality management and continuous improvement.
- Manages and develops direct reports to create best in class policies and procedures for quality.
- Initiates and provides feedback on R&D for new products and process.
- Enforces safety policies.
- Interprets company policy to employees.
- Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
- Initiates/performs job performance reviews.
- Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management or continuous improvement roles.
- Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or other relevant quality improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations as they affect plant operations.
Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
