Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will contribute to creating a welcoming environment for our guests by maintaining cleanliness and organization in the laundry area.
Responsibilities
- Operate washing machines and dryers according to established procedures for various types of fabrics.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens and garments as required.
- Ensure that all items are cleaned according to hotel standards and protocols.
- Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed for specialty items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including regular cleaning of machines and surfaces.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to management promptly.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures while handling chemicals and operating machinery.
- Assist in inventory management of laundry supplies and notify management when stock is low.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with laundering techniques, including dry cleaning processes, is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks.

Pay: $10.21 - $12.25 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
