We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our front desk team at our soon to be opened Candlewood Suites Huntsville Research Park. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality management skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role is crucial in ensuring that guests have a memorable experience from check-in to check-out, while also managing front office staff effectively.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily front office operations, ensuring efficient guest check-in and check-out processes.
- Manage phone systems and handle guest inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate front desk staff to enhance performance and service quality.
- Oversee guest relations, addressing any concerns or complaints to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and billing details.
- Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately processed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery across the resort.
- Implement hospitality best practices to enhance the overall guest experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or a similar role within the resort industry.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Familiarity with front desk operations and phone systems is essential.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual candidates are highly desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to guest relations.
- Experience with night audit procedures is a plus but not mandatory.
