Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the overnight shift. This position requires a blend of hospitality skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service abilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting and checking guests in and out of the hotel, managing front desk operations, performing nightly audits, and providing exceptional service to our guests.
Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs during the night shift.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues that arise.
- Maintain organized records of guest accounts and transactions.
- Ensure the security of the hotel by monitoring access points and responding to any incidents.
- Assist with phone inquiries, utilizing effective phone etiquette to provide information and support.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Prepare daily reports summarizing occupancy, revenue, and other key performance indicators.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel management is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Familiarity with front desk operations and hotel management systems is advantageous.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- Proficient in using phone systems and handling inquiries professionally.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for auditing tasks.
