We are currently seeking a friendly, reliable, and professional Shuttle Driver to join our team and assist in transporting guests to and from the hotel to local attractions, airports, and other destinations.
Job Description:
As a Hotel Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting guests to and from the PDX Airport. You will ensure that guests enjoy a smooth, pleasant ride and maintain the highest level of professionalism. In addition to driving duties, you will also assist with light cleaning tasks around the hotel and help with taking out the garbage as needed to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely drive the hotel shuttle to and from PDX airport.
- Provide excellent customer service to all guests by greeting them in a friendly, professional manner.
- Assist guests with luggage and ensure their comfort during transit.
- Maintain a clean and organized shuttle vehicle, ensuring it's in excellent working condition.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Keep accurate records of trips, vehicle maintenance, and fuel usage.
- Coordinate with the front desk or hotel staff to manage shuttle schedules and ensure timely transportation.
- Assist with light cleaning duties around the hotel, such as tidying up common areas, ensuring the lobby is clean, and performing occasional touch-ups in guest areas.
- Help take out garbage and ensure proper disposal throughout the hotel’s public areas and back-of-house spaces.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in a driving or customer service role (hotel or shuttle experience preferred).
- Ability to lift luggage and assist guests as needed.
- Ability to perform light cleaning tasks and basic maintenance duties.
- A positive, customer-focused attitude and a strong sense of responsibility.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
