What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Housekeeper position at Candlewood Suites?
We are currently looking for a full-time Executive Housekeeper. Must be able to work any day of week and Holidays, and must have own transportation to and from work. At least 2 years of prior hotel housekeeping experience is required. You must be able to perform a variety of housekeeping services to make sure the quality of our guest rooms are according to our franchise and company standards. You will be in charge in overseeing the housekeeping department, such as proper cleaning, hiring, scheduling, room inspections, inventory, etc. Responsible for cleaning public areas, parking lot, guest's rooms, and doing laundry as needed.
You must provide excellent customer service and hospitality.
Holiday Pay and Vacation provided.
Requirements:
· Must have an A service attitude.
· Must be able to communicate with guests and GM to resolve any housekeeping issues with little to no supervision.
· Must have the ability to supervise employees under you to make sure everything is done according to company standards and to work closely with GM on scheduling.
· Must have the ability to retain and hire employees as needed, while working closely with the GM.
· Must have the ability to do daily final inspections of all rooms cleaned.
· Must have the ability to clean properly according to procedures set by our company.
· Must be able to perform physical work, such as vacuuming, reaching and stretching, pulling linens from beds, bending and cleaning bathrooms, etc.
· Ability to lift reasonable weight up to 35 lbs., such as taking trash to dumpster, etc.
· Must have the right attitude and the ability to follow instructions from your GM.
· Ability to learn from any mistakes and to make sure the job is done right.
