Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Executive Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising laundry attendants, public area attendants, and room attendants, and cleaning of the hotel guest rooms, common areas, as well as interviewing, training and motiating staff. Responsible for housekeeping and laundry inventory. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional service in the hospitality industry.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Change bed linens and towels according to hotel standards.
- Restock guest supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and snacks.
- Clean and maintain public areas of the hotel, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and procedures to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, including floor care and industrial cleaning tasks.
- Hiring and scheduling of housekeeping, laundry and public attendant staff.
- Ordering and maintaining stock of all housekeeping and laundry supplies.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles within the hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and industrial cleaning equipment is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
