We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team in providing exceptional service to our guests. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and delivering outstanding customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Check guests in and out of their accommodations efficiently while ensuring accuracy in billing and reservations.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy, striving for complete guest satisfaction.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and events to provide recommendations to guests.
- You will be required to wash and fold laundry and help with other light cleaning duties
- Manage phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately or providing information as needed.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for occupancy.
- Assist in maintaining the front desk area, ensuring it is clean and organized at all times.
- Support the management team in various administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles is preferred, but will train the right canidate.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest relations; multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Familiarity with hotel operations, including front desk procedures and night audit processes.
- Proficiency in using reservation systems and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to providing excellent service in a resort or hotel environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
