We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining cleanliness and providing exceptional hospitality. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our facilities are clean, organized, and welcoming for guests. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and inventory, reporting any shortages or needs for replenishment.
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas including bathrooms, kitchens, and dining areas.
- Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Assist in laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns regarding housekeeping services.
- Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or housekeeping management is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of custodial practices and industrial cleaning techniques is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean thoroughly and efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require standing for long periods and lifting moderate weights.
