What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Attendant- Must work Saturday and Sundays position at Candlewood Suites?
The Candlewood Suites in Independence, MO is currently looking for permanent Full Time and Part Time Room Attendants to join our Team. Position requires thoroughly cleaning of hotel guest rooms and/or other assigned areas in a timely and organized manner to ensure guest satisfaction, hotel sanitation, meet hotel brand standards and hotel appearance.
Summary: Cleans hotel guestrooms and halls in by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities:
- Carries linens & Makes beds.
- Replenishes guestroom supplies such as coffee, glasses, shampoo, soap, and other amenities.
- Cleans corridors and stairways.
- Sweeps and scrubs bathroom floors.
- Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture.
- Dusts furniture. Washes walls and woodwork. Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empties wastebaskets.
- Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
- Replenishes bathroom supplies.
- Scrubs bathroom vanity, toilet, mirrors, walls and bathroom fan.
- Completes a quality check on the television, telephone, AC and smoke detectors.
- Removes any items left behind from room and takes to lost and found with proper documentation. * Reports any maintenance related problems to the maintenance department through proper communication channels.
- Responsible for careful and efficient use of supplies issued for performance of cleaning and maintenance duties.
Other duties may be assigned.
