Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining our reputation for excellence in guest service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the housekeeping staff, providing training, support, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
- Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and linens, placing orders as necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards.
- Address guest concerns and feedback regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special requests and events.
- Maintain a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and employee engagement.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or a similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and health/safety standards.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $14.75 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
