We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including residential and commercial spaces. The Housekeeper will ensure that all areas are sanitized, organized, and welcoming for clients and guests.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Launder linens and towels as needed, ensuring they are clean and well-presented.
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, mopping, or using floor care equipment as required.
- Conduct carpet cleaning tasks to ensure all carpets are free from stains and dirt.
- Assist with custodial duties in commercial settings, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Clean kitchen areas, including cooking surfaces and appliances, to maintain hygiene standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and schedules to ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and the use of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for long periods and lifting moderate weights.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
