Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial cleaning, hospitality, and custodial services, with a strong focus on maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments. This role is crucial in ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness, providing a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff alike. Please note that weekends are REQUIRED

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Carry out floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and efficiently.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
• Provide exceptional service to guests by responding to their requests promptly and courteously.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work is preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment.
• Familiarity with housekeeping management practices in a hotel or similar environment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards guests and coworkers.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
