We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and be proficient in various technical skills. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, performing repairs, and maintaining equipment to provide a safe and efficient environment.
Duties
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on buildings and equipment.
- Perform electrical work including troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems.
- Supervise maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time and to standard.
- Execute residential painting tasks as needed to maintain aesthetic quality.
- Work with logic controllers for automated systems, ensuring proper functionality.
- Fabricate parts or components as required for repairs or improvements.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
- Read and interpret schematics to assist in troubleshooting processes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong electrical skills with the ability to troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Experience in supervising projects or teams is preferred.
- Proficiency in residential painting techniques.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in maintenance tasks.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair various systems.
- Ability to read schematics accurately for effective troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
