Candlewood Valley Health Care Center, located in Mew Milford, CT is seeking a dynamic licensed Administrator/LNHA with proven leadership and strategic skills to join our team! As the administrator, you will oversee the daily operations, ensuring high-quality care for our residents while maintaining a positive and efficient work environment for our team.
RESPONSIBILITIES of Administrator:
Develop, direct, and support daily facility operations 24/7, including fiscal activities for the provision of quality health care programs and services
Create optimal employee relations necessary to motivate, recruit and maintain staff retention levels
Develop critical census building strategies
Hire Department Managers and ensure that all employees receive the training and support necessary for them to succeed in their positions
Establish financial and programmatic goals, including the management of the facility budget and cost reports
Responsible for monitoring quality assurance and business development goals, including the maximization of census levels and revenue
Oversee and monitor every aspect of operations to ensure compliance with current federal, state and local regulations
Act as primary liaison for residents, families, medical personnel, and the local community
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills are essential for an Administrator/ LNHA. Candidate must be able to communicate effectively with both a diverse clientele and workforce through sound business decisions, diplomacy and discretion.
QUALIFICATIONS
Comprehensive knowledge of Long-Term Care Medicaid and Medicare regulations and standards
Innovative consensus builder
Ability to enhance operating results by providing the highest quality service in the most cost-effective and efficient manner
Strong strategic marketing and selling skills
Highly effective as a team leader and motivator
Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or Medical Specialty
- Current State of Connecticut Nursing Home Administrator/ LNHA License
- Three to five years' experience as an Administrator in a Skilled Nursing Facility
