The Operations Specialist team fulfills the following areas of service for its partners and teammates.
- Timely acknowledgment and communication of solutions to customer inquiries as well as communication of carrier locations and milestone updates.
- Identify and create opportunities within current customer base and future customers
- Procure, identify, and build relationships with necessary vendors to support department.
- Serve as the Operational Point of Contact for all modes of shipment.
- Execute Safety and Service Standard Operating Procedures.
- Change to Execute and always seek the better for all process and procedures related to customer success.
- Responsible for ensuring order entry accuracy for each shipment and instructions are given to vendors for execution.
- Coordinates and collaborates with the Account Management and Sales Team new vendor relationships/capabilities/services to support all functions related to all modes of shipment[JK4] .
- Establishes standard protocols for communication standards and practices with its partners
- Collaborates and works side by side with Account Management and Sales team on new and existing opportunities to provide best solutions that meets and exceeds Candor’s values and customer’s expectations.
- Delivering the customer experience that meet and exceeds Candor's Values and thru flawless execution which include but not limited to vendor selection, order accuracy, and track and trace activities.
- Effectively procure partners that meet and exceed Candor’s values and customer’s expectations[JK5] , by ensuring that all carrier partners adhere to all Federal Guidelines in reference to safety protocols and hours of service.
- Coordinates, solicits, and provides timely and effective channels of communication to its partners/teammates.
- Communicate directly with customers/carriers to address issues and create Plans of Action to deliver experiences that meet and exceed Candor’s Values and Commitments
- Execute and assist in development of internal controls with Director of Operations to ensure that Candor’s Carrier Partner’s meet and exceed safety and service standards.

- On-Boarding/Procurement
- Responding and acknowledging all customer requests for quotes as assigned.
- Booking and coordinating with vendor partners all awarded/tendered shipments at a profit.
- Ensuring all vendor partners are properly setup in Candor’s TMS
- Ensuring all documentation is collected from customer to ensure shipment is executed to customer’s level of satisfaction
- Ensuring all customer’s expectations are met from the time a shipment is tendered thru the invoicing stage of shipment life cycle.
