Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong product knowledge to support production quality and team effectiveness.
- Coordinate daily manufacturing activities across work cells to meet production goals.
- Communicate clear expectations, provide coaching and mentorship, and hold team members accountable.
- Foster a positive, collaborative team culture by mentoring employees and resolving conflicts constructively.
- Ensure accountability of Lead Hands, machine operators and production staff to meet safety, quality, and operational targets as well as company policies, procedures, values and code of conduct.
- Ensure employees are trained, equipped, and supported to perform work safely and efficiently.
- Promote and maintain a safe and compliant work environment by educating and directing employees on the use of equipment and tools, processes, and procedures
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Communicate cross-functionally regarding equipment failures and quality concerns.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Champion and model company core values in all leadership practices.
- Lead daily team huddles and ensure alignment on goals, expectations, and production plans.
- Support company-wide initiatives by taking on additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Accomplishes assigned operational goals by communicating job expectations; planning & coordinating manufacturing activities with assigned work cells, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, accountability & disciplining employees; ensuring conformance to quality management system; training and mentoring employees; identify and manage risks & opportunities
- Responsible for the efficient coordination of work cells, management of provided resources to achieve established goals & objectives; goals & objectives are clearly communicated & understood on the production floor, work cells have the required tools and trained labour to perform, work cells have the material and proper equipment to safely fabricate material.
- Initiate, propose, or provide solutions related to potential process improvements to reduce or eliminate the generation of waste, the handling or disposal of waste through reclamation and/or recycling of material.

The production department is looking for candidates with:
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet timelines along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment will be an asset.
- Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint ERP, etc.).
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal; organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledgeable regarding current OSHA regulations.
- Strong ability to provide positive and constructive feedback.
