Responsibilities
- Educate and engage children through age-appropriate activities that support their developmental milestones.
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with educational standards while catering to the diverse needs of students.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all children.
- Provide individualized support to children, including those with special education needs.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom setting that promotes learning and exploration.
- Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the overall daycare experience.
Experience
- Previous experience working in a daycare or educational setting is preferred.
- Strong background in behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies.
- Familiarity with curriculum development tailored for young learners.
- Experience working with students of varying abilities, including those requiring special education support.
- Knowledge of toddler care practices is essential.
- Proficiency in basic math concepts to support early childhood education initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
