Food Truck Operations Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Food Truck Staff to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving delicious food from our mobile kitchen. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that every customer has a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food truck and kitchen area
• Serve customers with a friendly attitude while taking orders accurately
• Operate the Toast POS system for processing transactions
• Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies
• Bus tables and ensure the dining area is tidy and welcoming
• Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure food quality and safety
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours

Skills

• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory counts
• Experience in quick service fast food restaurants or cafés is preferred
• Knowledge of retail math for effective inventory management is a plus
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques in a food truck environment
• Ability to sanitize work areas effectively to maintain health standards
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 38 per week
