Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our diverse residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a solid understanding of property management best practices. In this role, you'll work closely with tenants, vendors, and internal teams to ensure properties are well-maintained, compliant with regulations, and provide a positive living and working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of property operations, including tenant relations, maintenance requests, and lease agreements.
- Perform routine property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and property regulations.
- Manage the leasing process from marketing available units to conducting property showings and processing applications.
- Keep detailed records of tenant communications, lease agreements, and maintenance requests.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies to improve occupancy rates.
- Ensure properties remain in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Respond to customer inquiries in a professional manner, demonstrating exceptional phone etiquette.
- Assist in preparing legal documents related to leasing and property management.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with tenants to drive satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in property management or a similar field is preferred.
- Familiarity with Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) regulations is a plus.
- Strong administrative skills, particularly in real estate operations and legal documentation.
- Proficiency with customer relationship management (CRM) software is advantageous.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
