Job Summary:
Canebrake Country Club is seeking enthusiastic and service-oriented Pool Servers to join our seasonal Food & Beverage team at the poolside dining area. As a Pool Server, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience for our members and guests by delivering outstanding customer service, maintaining knowledge of our menu offerings, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet members and guests promptly in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take and serve food and beverage orders from poolside guests efficiently.
- Ensure quick and accurate delivery of drinks and meals while maintaining quality service.
- Monitor guest needs, including refilling drinks, clearing used dishes, and providing timely assistance.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the poolside dining area, including tables, lounge chairs, and service stations.
- Assist with restocking supplies such as napkins, utensils, condiments, and beverages.
- Uphold all safety and sanitation protocols, ensuring food and drink handling follows health guidelines.
- Work closely with bartenders and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down poolside dining areas before and after shifts.
- Provide friendly and professional interactions with guests, ensuring a positive and relaxing experience.
Qualifications:
- Previous serving experience in a restaurant, club, or hospitality setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- Must be at least 18 years old (or comply with local age requirements for serving alcohol).
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to exceptional service.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat and humidity.
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
