Job Summary:

Canebrake Country Club is seeking enthusiastic and service-oriented Servers to join our Food & Beverage team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience for our members and guests by delivering outstanding customer service, maintaining knowledge of our menu offerings, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet members and guests promptly in a friendly and professional manner.
• Present menus, take food and beverage orders, and provide recommendations when needed.
• Deliver food and beverages accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure tables are properly set and maintained throughout the dining experience.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and respond promptly to requests.
• Maintain knowledge of all menu items, including daily specials and beverage offerings.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas for events and banquets as needed.
• Uphold Canebrake Country Club’s standards of hospitality and professionalism.

Qualifications:

• Previous serving experience in a restaurant, club, or hospitality setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Must be at least 18 years old (or comply with local age requirements for serving alcohol).
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A positive attitude and a commitment to exceptional service.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Work environment includes indoor and outdoor settings with varying temperatures.
