The law firm Canfield & McKenna, LLC is seeking a full time bookkeeper/secretary.
Primary duties will be bookkeeping, to include payroll and withholdings, client billing, accounts payable, reconciliation of trust and retainer accounts and general operating account, processing payments, and handling collections. Duties also include assisting and supporting the secretarial and legal assistant staff.
The candidate must be able to work efficiently, and attention to detail is paramount.
Prior bookkeeping experience is required, and prior experience bookkeeping in a law firm is preferred. Must be proficient in QuickBooks.
Pay is commensurate with experience. Benefits include paid holidays and vacation; retirement plan with 3% match; and the employee will be eligible for health, vision, dental, and disability insurance benefits.
